Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is used to restore chipped or broken teeth, fill in small gaps between teeth, and even recolor teeth. Through this treatment, a special resin is thinly layered onto your natural teeth to improve the look of your smile.
This procedure is for patients with a chipped tooth or those wanting to fill a space between their teeth without placing a crown or veneer. With bonding, you usually do not need to be numb unless you are sensitive to the air and or water used in the process.
How Does Dental Bonding Work?
First, the front of the tooth gets roughened up and then a thin layer of tooth colored resin is applied to the tooth. Once the shape and appearance of the tooth or teeth are ideal we will check your bite and polish bonding material to make it look natural alongside your other teeth.
Right after leaving your visit, you will be okay to drink, eat and go about your life.
